America's Providential Heritage Your author recently heard a man on television say, “…so we are to believe that 6,000 years ago – suddenly -- a full grown man appeared on earth! Come on now, give me a break!” Another man recently said, “Intelligent design is a religion but evolution is a fact of science.” That man obviously meant, a religion is simply the product of one’s imagination while evolution between the species is a fact that can be proven. Many Christians buy into the so called scientific conclusions as of our origin but still try to hold on to their religious views. The teaching that the world slowly evolved, and the teaching that God instantaneously spoke everything into existence, are directly opposed to each other. It is high time that the Christian community gets on one bandwagon or the other. If the Bible cannot be proven to be accurate, we need to destroy it! If the Bible is accurate then the story of millions of years of evolution is a lie and a story that must be rejected! We are taught to, “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good,” 1 Thessalonians 5:21 KJV. I would blend my voice with Elijah’s when he said, "How long will you waver between two opinions?” 1 Kings 18:21. God calls all Christians to defend their faith. “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have,” 1 Peter 3:15. We must learn the subject before us, and learn well, so that we can defend the truth. Our country was built on the firm foundation that the original Bible was accurate in every detail. Our country is fast going down the tubes because this foundation is being eroded away. We are not stretching when we say, “The ability to prove biblical claims will form a solid foundation for your life and for our country.” The men’s statements mentioned above are exactly opposite of the truth. Evolution between the species cannot be proven in any way, shape or fashion. It has never happened! It falls completely in the realm of the tooth fairy, the three pigs and Santa Claus. These are all figments of the imagination. …so we are to believe that six million years ago a frog crawled out of a swamp and turned into a man strictly by accident! Come on now, give me a break! INTELLIGENT DESIGN IS BACKED WITH A TON OF SOLID, SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN FACTS! Atheists like to say they will believe nothing that they cannot experience with their five senses, however, logic illustrates that we can positively prove many things separate and apart from these senses. For instance, we know that most atheists have minds, yet no one has ever heard, smelled, touched, tasted, or seen them. “Testimonial Evidences” is the fourth book in a series, by this author, designed to absolutely prove that the Bible is accurate. The previous volumes are titled: We Can Know There Is a God in Heaven and the Bible Is His Word; What Made America Great?, and America’s Providential Heritage. In these books we examined scientific evidence, prophetic evidence, providential evidence and historical evidence and testimonial evidence. Every court system in the world is dependent upon evidences which cannot be seen, smelled, tasted, heard or touched. It should be noted also that no historical event can be proven by our five senses. For example: Lincoln giving the Gettysburg Address; we cannot see him giving it, hear him giving it, smell him giving it, taste him giving it, or feel him giving it, yet we can explicitly prove that he gave it! All events, both future and past, must be established either by the tracks they leave or the evidence of testimony.
